It features a brilliant and sunlight-viewable 7" color LCD display with compact profile and sleek design. The menu keys are strategically located along the sides of the case to make it easy to operate either in portrait or landscape mode.
The AvMap EKP-IV is equipped with a 128 MB Compact Flash CF for greater versatility in data management. The fully detailed Cartography integrates regional road charts and Jeppesen data. This aviation GPS uses the Jeppesen aeronautical database system as well as the AVIOportolano database that covers over a hundred of airfields. Its advanced navigation functions include full flight planning capability and approaching waypoint alarm; multiple views of full or split screens with data fields navigation data or full map view; import and export capability for flight plans, routes and way points directly from the device to the computer; land elevation with color coded map that shows information on the terrain altitude and a lot more.
The AvMap EKP-IV Aviation GPS can also be integrated with other on-board navigation systems including autopilot, GPS and external antenna.
